Is there a way to show a memo in all associated accounts rather than just in the one that I enter the journal entry?

Is there a way to show a memo in all associated accounts rather than just in the one that I enter the journal entry?

My goal is to ensure that your experience with our system is as seamless as possible, @weinman.

 

To view all memos or descriptions in all associated accounts, we can pull up the Transaction List by Account report. 

 

Let me illustrate the steps for you.

 

  1. In your QBO account, select the Report menu. 
  2. In the Find report by name field, search and select Transaction List by Account.
  3. Click the Customize button.
  4. Choose the correct date.
  5. In the Rows/Columns section, make sure to put a checkmark next to Memo/Description. 
  6. Once done, select Run Report.
