How can i look at bank reconciliation reports and why am i being asked to connect to bank first as bank is already connected

Let me help you view your bank reconciliation reports, @accounts-built2l.

 

You can see it in the Reconcile tab of the Accounting menu. To view what banks you reconciled recently, you'll want to click the Summary link on the Reconcile window.

 

Here's how to run a bank reconciliation report:

  1. Go to the Accounting menu and then select Reconcile.
  2. Click the History by account link.
  3. Select the bank account to see the reconciliation report and then change the Report Period to All Dates.
  4. From there, click the drop-down arrow on the Action column to show the previous reports.
  5. Hit View report or click the arrow beside to Print the reconciliation report.

 

On the other hand, it's unexpected to see that the system will ask to connect your bank when it's already linked to QuickBooks Online. Will you share with me a screenshot? This way, I can verify if it's an issue or you'd need to troubleshoot it in your browser directly.
