Hi, I am trying to create a report with my expenses for tax purposes. I have multi currency - USD, EUR, GBP. I want the report to show the original currency?

When I create the report right now it only shows the USD equivalent and this is not what I need. Last year I was able to create a Transaction List By Supplier and chose to show the base currency. This option does not seem to be available this year.

I see the need to generate a report that shows the original currency, treasafitzgibbon. I'll share some insights about this.

The system automatically utilizes the home currency when generating a report in QuickBooks. However, you do have the option to incorporate the Foreign Amount within the report if desired. I've attached a screenshot for your visual reference:

You also want to export the report to an Excel file, make some changes and personalise it to get the desired data. Please check this link: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.

I'll keep this thread open if you have other questions regarding reports or relevant QBO issues. I am always available to help.

Hi thanks so much for this information. I ended up having an online chat with someone from quickbooks last night. It looks so simple once you know but I was all over the place. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Thanks
