Product is not showing in P & L

Hi there, @sree-lakshmi.

 

There are two possible reasons why the product isn't showing in the Profit and Loss. 

  • The Report period is incorrect. 
  • The Accounting method is inappropriate. 

Let's re-open the report, then make sure to choose the exact date and the method so the data of the P&L will show up. You can customize the report to show the precise details. 

 

Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Reports tab, then locate P&L
  2. Click the Customize button on the upper right side, then pick the date. 
  3. In the Accounting method, select Cash or Accrual
  • Accrual - includes the income and expenses when you sent an invoice or got the bill. Also, even if the money didn't receive yet. 
  • Cash- counts the income and expense the time you got the payment or the bill. 

      4. Hit the Run reports.

You can also save this report by clicking on Save customisation. Once saved, you can access this report in the Custom reports tab from the Reports.
