Optimize your view: Customize your new QuickBooks Online dashboard layout

QuickBooks Online now offers an integrated platform designed to streamline your financial management. This comprehensive experience provides an all-in-one view of your business's health, enhanced by AI-driven financial insights and simplified navigation. It centralizes all your essential tools and services for peak efficiency. In this guide, we'll explore key features that empower you to customize your QuickBooks Online dashboard experience and get the most out of your financial data.

You know what data you need to see the most, which is why you're in control of your dashboard. Tailor it to your needs by deciding which widgets to display and how they're arranged. This helps you focus on the information most relevant to you.

Choosing Your Widgets:

Think of widgets as customizable information panels that provide quick insights. To pick which ones appear on your dashboard:

1. Find and select "Add or remove widgets." This will bring up a list of available widgets.
2. Check the boxes next to the widgets you want to see, and uncheck those you don't.
3. Once you've made your selections, click "Save" to apply the changes.

Arranging and Resizing Widgets:

Once you've chosen your widgets, you can organize them for optimal viewing.

• Simply click and drag a widget to your desired location on the dashboard.
• Some widgets are adjustable. To resize, click and drag the sides of the widget. This allows you to make important widgets larger and easier to read, or shrink less critical ones.
• Don't forget to "Save" your layout once you've perfected it. 

Important Note: The widgets you see might differ from what your teammates see. This is because widget visibility is determined by individual access rights, ensuring everyone sees the information relevant to their role. Learn more about access rights here.
