I want to create one master invoice (Bill to the Headquarters of my customer) but multiple delivery orders under different delivery addresses. How do I do so?
Hello there, Evinna.
QuickBooks Online doesn't support multiple delivery addresses on one master invoice. However, as a workaround, we can use Batch transactions to create multiple invoices to multiple addresses with the same invoice number for the same customer. Each invoice can reflect a different delivery address, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded while maintaining consistency.
Here's how:
1. Navigate to the +Create option and select Batch transactions.
2. In the Invoice Number field, enter the original invoice number.
3. Fill in the delivery information in the Shipping To column.
4. For the second item, enter the same invoice number.
5. Provide additional delivery information in the Shipping To column.
6. Finally, click Save and send.
Please note that Batch transactions are only available in the Advanced version of QuickBooks Online.
