how can i change Govt UID field name in my sales invoice format?

Customizing the fields on your sales invoices is essential to reflect your specific business requirements. Let me guide you on the available options.

First, it's important to note that we cannot change the name of the Govt. UID field on invoices. While I understand the desire to modify its label, the most effective step we can take is to provide direct feedback to our Product Engineers. This will allow them to take your concerns into account and enhance your overall experience.

Here's how:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks.
2. Select Settings, then choose Feedback.
3. Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit feedback.

And to clarify, your Commercial Registration Number will only show once you've added this to your invoice template. Take note that the CRN will be labeled as Govt. UID once you print the invoice by default.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Settings, then choose Custom Form Styles.
2. Click New Style, then select Invoice.
3. Navigate to the Content tab, then click the Header.
4. Tick the Company Registration Number box and then enter your number.
5. Modify the rest of the field then click Done.

Once done let's make it as default:

1. Locate the form we've made, then click the arrow drop-down.
2. Choose Make Default.

Now to check it, please follow the steps below:

1. Create an Invoice.
2. In the lower section, locate Print and Preview, then click it.
3. Choose Print and Preview.
