Hi, I’m in Ireland & my business address is set to Ireland, but QuickBooks shows US or CA for payment method. I had a TurboTax Canada account before. How do I fix this?

I've never had a quickbooks account before. I lived in Canada 4 years ago and only set this quickbooks account up this year.

You'll need to verify if your QBO region is set to Ireland, Brid.

 

QuickBooks is region-specific, meaning its settings are tailored to the country selected during setup. If you’re seeing US or Canada payment options, you may have accidentally created an account under the wrong region. To confirm, follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Navigate to the Gear icon or Settings.
  3. Go to the Company section and check the Company Information to ensure the region is set to Ireland.

If your region is correctly set to Ireland, you can reach out to our live support team to check why the payment method is displaying options for the US or Canada rather than Ireland. Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Select the Search tab, then choose Contact Us.
  3. Type in your issue or concern in the field.
  4. Hit Continue.
