How to void item import for error how to delete item import

Thanks for joining us here in the Community, @Marvel. I'm happy to help you with voiding imported transaction items in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you are dealing with imported items in the Products and Services, please note that these items cannot be voided. However, you can make them inactive, and you have the option to reactivate them later if needed.

Here’s how:

  1. Navigate to the Sales menu.
  2. Go to Products and Services, then click the drop-down button next to the item.
  3. Select Make inactive, then confirm by choosing Yes.

To reactivate this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the filter option.
  2. Under Status, select Inactive.
  3. Find the inactive item you want to reactivate and change its status.

If you are referring to Bank transactions imported into QBO, you can void them from the bank register.

Here's how:

  1. Navigate to the Transactions menu.
  2. Go to the Bank register.

  3. Locate the transaction items you want to void, then click Edit.
  4. Select More, then choose Void.
  5. Confirm by choosing Yes.

Note: Voided transactions will stay in your bank register for record-keeping.

I'm sharing this article to guide you anytime you need help doing or fixing a reconciliation: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks. It provides step-by-step instructions on how to reconcile an account in QBO.

If you have any other questions or require further assistance in voiding an imported transaction, add them in the comments, we're here to lend you a helping hand. Thanks for dropping by.
