Looking to get help with a one time cleaning my books. I am not an accountant and unfortunately do not have time to learn/manage this part of my business. Options?

I’d like to find someone who can look over how I’m keeping things organized and help me clean up/reconcile accounts so that things operate more smoothly when it comes time for taxes

Looking to get help with a one time cleaning my books. I am not an accountant and unfortunately do not have time to learn/manage this part of my business. Options?

A pleasant day to you, @crowfliescabincleaning. I'll share information on how you can seek help to ensure your book is organized and balanced.

First off, you can add an accountant to your account so there will be someone you can trust to reconcile and manage your book accurately. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Manage Users in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
  2. Click Accounting firms.
  3. Enter the accountant's email address in the provided field below and click Invite.

  4. Then, follow the on-screen steps.

If this isn't the best fit for you, I recommend contacting our support team to guide you on the best action you can take to ensure the accuracy of your book.

Also, you can check this article once you have time to review the reconciliation process in your account: Learn the reconciliation workflow in QuickBooks.

Moreover, QuickBooks automatically generates a report whenever you complete a reconciliation. If you wish to view, print, or export it, check out this article for the complete guide: Reconciliation report in QuickBooks Online.
