Hi there, Johnny.
Some banks require specific credentials, provided by your financial institution, to authorize third-party platforms like QuickBooks Online (QBO). These credentials are part of a secure authentication process that protects your financial information while enabling the automatic import of transactions.
If you don’t currently have this information, I recommend contacting your bank to obtain the necessary details. Once you have them, you’ll be able to connect your bank account to QBO seamlessly and easily reconcile your transactions moving forward.
Please note that once your bank is connected, the system automatically downloads transactions and sets the starting balance for you. However, it is essential to manually review, categorize, and match the imported transactions to ensure an accurate reconciliation process.
