Let's perform some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted out, @trishas-bayt-net.

We'll need to make sure the tax name is reflected on the transactions so that it will flow on the report. Just open an invoice transaction to see if the Tax column is showing on that field. Once done, try running the report with the correct period. Then, click the Gear icon on the report and ensure the Tax Name column is selected.

If the same thing happens, there may be an issue with your browser that sometimes cause behavior like this. Let's try some quick browser troubleshooting to fix the blank Tax column on the report in QuickBooks Online (QBO). First, use a private browser since this doesn't store data in the cache and it is the best place to isolate browser issues. Try these keyboard shortcuts depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If this works, I recommend you go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This removes the log files and starts with a clean slate. Otherwise, use other supported browsers to be thorough.

Additionally, I've attached some articles you can refer to for managing VAT rates in QuickBooks:
