I appreciate you joining the thread, Nia.

Let me share additional details about your recurring invoice concern in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

If you want to send a recurring invoice with a due date that is different than the day the invoice is sent, you'll want to set up the Interval date with the 20th day of every month and then add Terms for the due date. Let me guide you with the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Recurring Transactions under Lists.
  2. Click Edit or New recurring Invoice.
  3. In the Create days in advance, enter your preferred days to create an invoice.
  4. In the Interval section, please set it to Monthly on day 20th of every 1 month.
  5. Select the Terms dropdown, click Add New, and choose the Due by a certain day of the month then, enter 1 day of the month.
  6. Then hit Save Template.
