Are QuickBooks staff misunderstanding the fault? (It is a fault.)
I pay for a service from an American firm using PayPal. The firm receives $50 but PayPal converts this to £'s for me. PayPal then debits the £ amount from my UK linked bank account.
We only trade with £'s so I do not require multi-currency. QBO simply needs to import the converted £ amount rather than the unconverted $ amount. (Or whatever it might be.)
