Hello hautecreations. I'll be happy to share more info about using QuickBooks. To get started, it's important to note that you have the freedom to choose to use either QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. I recommend choosing a program that suits your business needs based on the functionality of each program. Since QBO is separate from QBDT, you'll have to manually export your data out of QBO to QBDT. Here's how to export your reports:

  1. Select the Settings βš™ and then Export Data.
  2. On the Reports tab, set the date range.
  3. Add or remove items from the Reports and Lists tabs by toggling the slider.
  4. Select Export to Excel.

I encourage you to check out the articles below as they also provide more export options out of QBO:

If you're completely moving your accounting from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop, I recommend reviewing this article as well: Move lists and balances from QuickBooks Online to QuickBooks Desktop. This resource gives a comprehensive explanation of the process, and what order to complete the steps in. Let me know if you have other questions, I'm here to help steer you in the right direction.
