Welcome back to the QuickBooks Community. I can see that things have been challenging for you when opening a company file. I'll ensure someone from our support team will assist you further in handling the white blank page you're getting.

 

The problem with QuickBooks Desktop that has stopped working when trying to open a company file has been reported as an ongoing issue. Our product engineers are now working to settle this as soon as possible.

 

For now, we're unable to provide an exact workaround to be performed. However, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Desktop Support Team, so they can add you to our notification list. This will allow our engineers to determine the number of affected users. You'll also receive an update via email once this has been fixed.

 

  1. Press F1 to open the Help window.
  2. From the search icon, type Contact Support.
  3. Click Contact us at the bottom part.
  4. Give a brief description of your issue about a white blank page shown after opening an existing file. Then, click the Search button.
  5. You'll be routed with How to connect with a QuickBooks expert and you choose which one is best for you.
