As provided by my colleagues above, these are common fraud issues. Please know that Intuit will only get in touch if you’re asking for a callback from them, over a problem with QuickBooks. Thus, we apply strict guidelines and practices to protect all of your personal information.
I'd suggest reporting this suspicious activity to our Security Team to prevent it from happening again. I’ll show you how to do it:
- Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us.
- Look for Report technical support scams.
- Click Report tech support scams.
Additionally, you can report any strange emails or fraudulent activities by clicking the Report a fake email (or phishing email) option.
If need be, you can always reach out to our QuickBooks Desktop Support. This way, they can pull up your account in a secure environment and investigate your concern further.
