Let me share some information about the error code 179, narendran.s.

The error code occurs when the system detects that you're already logged in to your bank's website or someone accessed your account elsewhere. This prevents you to download bank transactions and will tell you to sign out of your bank’s website.

To resolve this be, just follow the steps below:

  1. Sign out from your bank's website. Perhaps someone else signed in using the same sign-in information.
  2. If you aren't currently signed by yourself. Ask that person to sign out.
  3. Go back to QuickBooks Online (QBO)and sign in again.

If the same thing happens, I'd suggest reaching out to our Customer Support Team. They'll pul up your account in a secure environment and investigate what's causing this issue.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help icon on the top right.
  2. Enter your concern in the search field.
  3. Choose Talk to a human.
  4. Click the OK. To get you to the right human, in a few words, tell me what you need help with option and tap I still need a human
  5. Press Contact us.
  6. Tick Continue
  7. Choose Message an agent or Get a callback.
