Commonwealth Bank supports Direct Feed connections when linking your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO), dorretti.

Unlike some other banks, Commonwealth Bank doesn't require you to complete and submit a form to connect your bank account. However, the process for setting up a Direct Feed connection is slightly different compared to standard connections with other banks. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open the Bank transactions page and select Connect account. If you’ve already connected an account, click Link account instead.
  2. Search for your bank by name or URL, or select it from the list.
  3. Sign in using your online banking credentials and complete any required security steps.
  4. Choose the accounts you want to connect (e.g., current, savings, or credit card).

Once your account is connected, QuickBooks will automatically import your transactions each day. You can also manually refresh the connection to retrieve the most recent data.
