Before doing so, I'd like to Thank you for choosing our program to handle your business needs. I'll gladly walk you through the process of setting up accounts inside your Chart of accounts. To get you going, here's how:

1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
2. Go to the Lists menu, then select Chart of Accounts.
3. From the Account ▼dropdown, select New.
4. Select an account type, then select Continue.
5. Complete the account details.
6. Select Save & Close.

Now that you're able to complete setting up an account in your COA, you can proceed to add your customers and supplier inside your company.

To add a customer inside QBDT, these are the steps:

1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
2. Go to the Customers tab, and then select Customer Center.
3. Click the New Customers & Job button, and then choose New Customers.
4. Enter all the needed information.
5. Once done, click OK.

To add a vendor inside QBDT, here's how:

1. Access your QuickBooks Desktop company.
2. Go to the Vendors menu, and then select Vendors Center.
3. Click the New Vendor button, and then choose New Vendor.
4. Enter all the needed information.
5. Once done, click OK.
