I'll be your QuickBooks Desktop support for today, @Desimoto.

 

You can add new users and give them access to your company file by going to:

 

  1. Company at the top, then Users.
  2. Select Set Up Users and Roles. Then, New.
  3. Enter the User Name and Password info and the Assigned Roles.
  4. Click OK.

However, if you're referring to a multi-user network so computers on your network can access your company file, you'll need to install the QuickBooks Database Server. Then, set up and install a multi-user network for QBDT.

We also have a guide on how to fix errors that's blocking the multi-user connection that I'm sure you'll find helpful. It contains solutions on what to do if you see them in the program.
