I've got some information to share about importing data from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise to QuickBooks Online.

At this time, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is only offered in the United States and Canada. That said, if you're using the version for any of these countries, your data will also be exported to the QBO version for that country.

Thus, you are only allowed to export data to a QBO company the account is less than 60 days from the day you've signed up. If not, you will be asked to create a new company like what you've experienced.

To get your work done, you may export your lists to Excel and import them into QBO. I'd also suggest checking out for some third-party application that integrates with QBO and imports your data automatically.

When it comes to your transactions, they can't be imported. You'll need to download them from your bank in a CSV file, and upload them to the system afterward. You can also connect your bank account to download your transactions directly in QBO. However, your opens bills and invoices have to be created manually.

I'm also adding here a link that you can check out which contains the things that you need to know about importing your data to QBO: Frequently asked questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have any other questions about exporting your QuickBooks Enterprise data to QBO. If you have any concerns. I'll be right here to help.
