I can see the importance of adding more customization options for the Sales by Customer Type Detail is beneficial for your business and other users. This allows you to show the revenue for a set time with details on every line item, and automatic calculation for the item. I suggest submitting feedback about this feature to our engineers for inclusion in future updates. 

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), head to the Gear icon in the upper right and choose Feedback under Other
  2. This action will open a window that lets you input your thoughts and ideas.
  3. From there, make sure to enter your product suggestions in the field box.
  4. Click Next to submit.
