How can you view a list of all journal entry line items? The total amount of $0 in the txn list makes it useless for reconciliation.
I used to be able to search Journal entries and while the double entry used to be annoying I was able to reconcile and verify that bank transactions (expenses) had been recorded. Now the listing only shows the aggregate total amount .... only way to find out what it is is to click on each and every journal entry.

EOFY and Reconciliation
You can generate a report in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to view a detailed list of all journal entry line items, Josh.
Allow me to walk you through the process:
- Navigate to the Reports menu.
- In the search bar, type Journal and select the Journal report from the results.
- Once the report loads, you can customize the date range and other filters to suit your needs.
This report details each journal entry and its line items rather than just the aggregate total. Using this report enhances your bank transaction reconciliation by providing detailed visibility into each journal entry.
I'll share additional resources to export your reports and generate a reconciliation report:
- Export your reports to Excel from QuickBooks Online
- View, print, or export a reconciliation report in QuickBooks Online
