Hi! Did you ever figure out how to fix this issue? I'm having the same problem with my credit card balances showing up as liabilities and my bank account as negative (double counting) on my balance sheet for 2022. Thank you!

Hello there, @qckbksdiy.
I got some information for you as to why your credit card balances show up as liabilities, and how we can prevent your bank account from appearing as negative.
Credit cards are liabilities in nature and are reported in the Liabilities section of the Balance Sheet. When it is paid, the liability in the said report will decrease.
With regard to having a negative bank account on your 2022 balance sheet, this only happens if your recorded payments are doubled resulting in your expenses appearing to be more than the amount of money you have in your account. With this, I suggest reviewing them and deleting the duplicates. If you suspect that credit card payments are the cause of having a negative balance, I'd recommend making sure they're put into the correct accounts.
You can refer to this article to know how to properly record them: Record your payments to credit cards in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, I'm also including this link as your guide in effectively reconciling your accounts: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to hit on the Reply button if you need further assistance in managing your credit card and bank account balances in QuickBooks Online. We'll be right here to help you thoroughly. Take care.
