You can amend a pay run by using the unlock and refinalise option in QuickBooks Online Payroll. Let me guide you how.

1. Click on the Payroll tab.
2. Click on Pay Runs and select the pay run you wish to unlock.
3. Select the Pay Run Actions then choose the Unlock option.
4. Enter a Comment to unlock the pay run.
5. Select Unlock.

Once done, you can make the corrections on the pay run. And then finalise the pay run when ready. Then, submit an updated pay event in the Single Touch Payroll to update year to date figures to the ATO.
