I have been away from the thread for a while as my Firewall solution worked well.... until recently...
QB seem to have changes, in an update, the port used to send emails from Gmail addresses... and they send the mail from port 443, which I had blocked outgoing.
And, hey presto, the login warning came back.
Why, Oh why Intuit are you trying to destroy your customers?
I have also been using Quckbooks desktop since 1998/1999.... and am very frustrated.
As for the poster who says this is a 'requirement of the law' - state your facts. My account is not in the USA. Intuit is an international company.
