I can help you sort things out so you can install QuickBooks Desktop for Mac seamlessly.
The latest release version compatible with macOS Monterey is R11. These are the following fixes included in this release:
- Fixed a problem where a crash log was not getting attached to the created email on macOS Monterey.
- Fixed a problem where a newly added Vendor wasn't selected after its creation.
- Fixed a problem where backups would sometimes not complete on some configurations.
- Fixed a problem where company files could be created with invalid characters in the name incompatible with OS guidelines.
- Fixed a problem where hierarchical popup menus were not displaying correctly on macOS Monterey
- Fixed a problem where the 'Last Backup' status was not showing up correctly in the QB Server app.
- Fixed a problem where the bottom of the Preferences window was getting visually clipped on macOS Monterey.
- Fixed a problem where the Job and Billable Status were getting cleared when saving a transaction.
I recommend downloading the QuickBooks Desktop for Mac 2020 latest release through this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products. Once done, you can already install and set up QuickBooks Desktop for Mac with ease.
