I tried switching over to Wave last year (I've been tired of QB for awhile). However, transferring all my existing outstanding invoices over was impossible. I would basically have to re-create each one. I'm also a little leery of free services. Nothing's truly free. 

Hi billhdz. QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2019 has a new update out for official compatibility with macOS Monterey. You can select QuickBooks menu > Check for QuickBooks Updates to download the update and to learn more.

For now, the 2020 version supports at least macOS 10.14 (Mohave). We're unable to provide any specific details regarding QuickBooks for Mac 2019 and macOS 12 Monterey compatibility.

@Kristine Mae  I know it supports MacOS 11.6 as well. I'm using it with QB Mac 2020.

That's not correct Kristine, there was an update issued today to include 2019 desktop for Mac.

Hi @jfreedy - There is not an update for QuickBooks Desktop Mac 2020 as of today. I'll reply again here to let you know as soon as I can give you the answer you're waiting for. This is the update I got today for Quickbooks Desktop 2019 for MAC.  I imaging this also applies to Quickbooks Desktop 2020 for MAC.

3. When prompted, select Install and Relaunch.

I know I waited awhile to get Desktop 2020 for Mac updated to use Big Sur.  Now I am waiting to update to Monterey.  I don't dare update as I have had my Quickbooks "broken" by an update in the past, and that was Windows!  Please hurry with an update for Desktop for Mac 2020 so I can update my OS to Monterey, which is waiting on my computer.

Yes, as mentioned by my colleague above that the QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) for Mac 2020 is compatible with the Mac OS version Monterey. Users with compatible Macs will be able to install this update. You will be prompted if your Mac is set to auto-update. You can follow the steps provided by RCV.

@MichelleBh  - you had mentioned that I'll need release 13, but when I select "Check for QuickBooks Updates" it says I'm up to date with version 19.0.9.940 R10 and that it's the "newest version available."

How do I get release 13 then?
