Other questions

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I appreciate the effort you’ve made to ensure your customers receive their invoices, ULC Tree.

Reliable email communication is essential for managing your business, and I’m here to help ensure your invoices are delivered smoothly.

To better assist you, could you clarify which QuickBooks product you are using? It appears you’ve joined a thread for either QuickBooks Online (QBO) or QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

If you are using QBO, emails sent to Yahoo addresses may sometimes be flagged as spam due to specific outgoing server settings. To resolve this, please verify that your outgoing mail server and email allowlist are configured correctly. You can follow the guidelines provided in this article: Troubleshoot if customers aren't receiving emails from QuickBooks Online.

Alternatively, you can consider using Gmail as your email provider for sending invoices. Gmail integrates seamlessly with QBO. Check out this article for more guidance: Send an invoice to a customer.

If you’re using QBDT, you can set up webmail integration to send invoices directly through your email provider. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Select Send Forms from the left menu, then choose Web Mail.
  3. Click Add to input your email credentials.
  4. Fill out the Add Email Info and select OK.
  5. Press OK to save your changes.

For further details, including the specific ISP settings and port numbers required for your email provider, check this article: Connect your email to QuickBooks Desktop.

As always, you can revisit this thread if you have follow-up questions.
