how do I return to the old platform?

I don't like the new platform, can I change the view back?

I understand your preference to return to the previous QuickBooks Online (QBO) interface, @Bozara. However, the option to switch back to the old view is no longer available.

 

As of October 1, 2025, all U.S.-based QBO users were permanently moved to the updated interface. The transition to the new experience was completed on October 1, and users who had previously opted out began receiving in-app notifications about this change on Thursday, September 25, at 8:00 AM PST.

 

Since July 1, the majority of U.S.-based users have been automatically switched to the new interface, while manual opt-outs have remained available. Accountants also had the option to opt clients out. However, the opt-out period officially ended on October 1, 2025. As a result, opt-out functionality was disabled, and all users who previously opted out were migrated to the updated experience.

 

For now, I recommend sharing your feedback directly with our product development team. They can consider your suggestion for future updates to revert to the previous QBO interface. Here’s how:

 

  1. Select the Gear icon, then choose Feedback.
  2. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  3. Click Next to submit.
