Yes I have contacted them.  It’s always a dance trying to get a straight answer regarding the desktop version.

Who are "them"? What "dance" do you mean?

Not that one specifically, but I did another one for Quickbooks Pro Plus 2024 Desktop in June for $179, and it worked and activated fine. No subscription required.

Where did you find this other one? I haven't been able to find a 2024 version of Quickbooks Desktop for Mac. I don't need anything fancy. I'm a one-man office, basically. (I have someone who helps answer the phones, but otherwise, it's just me.)

You can use the license until Intuit freezes your license without notice.. Don't be surprised if the seller refuses to acknowledge your problem.

I’m not sure if @Fiat Lux - ASIA is a person or a company, but when I got an email replies from “them” it was several back-and-forths and it was never made clear how to get the desktop version I’m looking for.  That’s what I meant.  It wasn’t as easy as clicking a link and downloading a software.
