Hey there, Mike.
How are you doing today? I hope all is well.
In QuickBooks, the Shipping Address checkbox only controls whether the separate shipping field shows on the form (and on the print/preview of the invoice). However, even when you uncheck it, QuickBooks still displays the Bill To (customer name + company name) information at the top of the invoice, because that’s considered the main customer info, not the shipping details.
If you’re trying to remove or change what prints, you’ll need to edit the invoice template. Here's how:
- Go to Settings, then Custom Form Styles.
- Select the invoice style you’re using.
- Click Content and edit the header section.
- From there, you can hide or adjust the fields (for example, show only the company name, or only the customer name).
This way, you can fully control what displays/prints. For more information about this process, check out Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
That should do the trick. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a good one!
