Well. Here we go again. The app was running well for almost a week, and now the ability to add a new estimate is gone. Disappeared. How in the f**k am I supposed to gain any new business of the app does not allow me to create an estimate. This is complete bullls*it. So tired of the QB games.

There is nothing that can save this except an immediate rollback! I am an unpaid volunteer trying to do an organization's bookkeeping, and upon logging in I am considering resigning tonight. I simply cannot, in my few spare hours, deal with this, especially after having spent countless unpaid hours converting to custom fields last month as a highly unsatisfactory substitute for the 'tags' which were working so well for tracking the income and expenses for our numerous social events. If  a rollback isn't imminent,  it may be over for me. It's almost midnight, I have less than half an hour to log and pay our incoming bills, and can't see how that is even remotely possible given this complete fiasco of an utterly revamped Quickbooks which I don't know how to begin with. I don't even see a Vendor tab for god's sakes

I guess I'm writing hand checks tonight and watching to see whether a rollback is coming. Heads should be rolling at Intuit over this unconscionable burden on your customers.

I thought I found a button to get me back to familiar territory, pressed it, and it was immediately covered over with a pop-up ad for mortgages

QB is absolute hot garbage.  We've been using it since 2000 and it has done nothing but get worse over time.  It's an absolute joke of a product and company, it's like their intention is to rage bait everyone into leaving for some reason.  Every single 'update' is somehow worse than the previous.  How this company is still alive is a mystery to me. As soon as I can find ANY kind of a replacement we're gone.

Right on schedule, it's time to add more unwanted user interface "features" to an already questionable system.  I can only image the amount of time that was spent crafting this new user experience and testing it with "real" users.  I'm sure it was a considerable drain on the development resources to bury basic capabilities under additional menus and dysfunctional dashboards.  Here's a novel thought.  Why not direct the product teams to actually work together across the platforms to make sure the basic functionality actually works?  Oh, put in a request for that?  Yup, did that multiple times and that process quickly takes the suggestions from the incompetent user base and parks it in the "Not going to happen anytime soon" Agile feature backlog.  The normal industry accepted process aims for continuous improvement but instead, we get a full suite of continuous disappointment.  I thinks it's time for a reset on priorities.

You can convert your data to get a QB Desktop file format and use the trial version to access your historical data for good. Then, start fresh in a new program to reduce conversion costs.
