Issue re logging on to QBO today
Is anyone else having issues in logging in to QBO this afternoon?
When I click on the app, it acts like it is trying to logon, then I get a box that says
"Something Went Wrong
Close the app and try again later"
I was using it this morning, came back from lunch and now I can't get in.
I restarted the computer, deleted the browsing history,
Still getting the message - Something Went Wrong.

yes it started for me about 12 noon EST, USA, and I get a message that says... "Something went wrong" Close the app and try again later... which sends you in an endless loop...

i just uninstalled the desktop app, and then went to the start menu and right clicked on the QB app icon that is still there...
I right clicked it and choose - go to file location - and then deleted the shortcut that was there and then re-installed the app again... and it worked for me...
seems like this program makes two shortcuts and the first one I deleted and that got it to work - which really doesn't make sense but it worked for me...

But... now 8/5/25
QB Online Desktop app is not starting again
8/4/25 QuickBooks online desktop app stopped working...
I called QB tech support and they couldn't help...
It tries to start and then a dialog box comes up ... "Something went wrong"
then a button "Try again" and when clicking that button...
then goes into this endless loop of not starting and this message comes up again... and again...
I uninstalled the app and reinstalled the app and then noticed that a shortcut it didn't remove so I rt clicked and deleted the short cut and then reinstalled the app and it worked on 8/4/25
Now today 8/5/25 it is doing the same thing...
Has this happened to anybody else?

I use Proton VPN, when I turned this off ... QBO desktop app works...

I had to edit my settings in the VPN... THIS APP should work without me doing that...
