Does anyone else get annoyed with all the pop-up ads and email offers with QBO? We pay for a premium service and these ads are intrusive and disruptive.
Customer Support says, "These notifications suggest and guide you on how to improve your QuickBooks experience. I understand that these ads may affect your navigation, but at present, the option to disable them permanently is unavailable. You can ignore them by clicking the X icon or the "No, thanks!" button. QuickBooks will then turn off the ads and remember your choice so that the pop-up won't show up again. THIS IS INACCURATE - they don't go away!

Intuit's investors are more important than our experience on their platforms.
Do not expect an option to disable ads.
Ever.
However, there is a workaround I'm using.
Some time ago, in order to undo a reconciliation, Intuit support directed me to make my own accountant profile and added my own company as a client. As far as I can tell, a QBO accountant profile doesn't have ads or promotions (they don't want to bother accountants, but ordinary users are fair game $$$).
