Thank you for joining the thread, @Jacqueline11.

These days, fraud is all too common, so I appreciate you sharing your experience with us to alert other forum participants.

Unwanted calls will come from fraudsters asking for access to your computer, personal information, or online services while posing as reputable organizations.

Nonetheless, I want to let you know that Intuit will only get in touch with you if you ask for a callback from our support over a problem with QuickBooks. Additionally, no personal information should be requested during outbound calls from a QuickBooks employee.

Also, if you receive any strange calls from anyone claiming to be from Intuit, don't hesitate to report them. To report the occurrence, go to our Online Security Center.

Here's how:

  1. Go to this link: https://security.intuit.com/contact-us.
  2. Look for Report technical support scams.
  3. Click Report tech support scams.

You can also report any strange emails or fraudulent activities by clicking the Report a fake email (or phishing email) option.

If you need assistance from our support, please ensure the phone number is from us. I'm adding the article for your reference: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support

Let me know if you need any assistance with your company file. I’ll be around the corner to lend a hand if you need it. Stay safe!
