Cannot see opening balance
Hi,
when I run a transaction Report on some entries in the Balance sheet I can see that there is a Beginning balance, I am unable to click on this Beginning balance to view it. If I go to the chart of accounts and click Account History I get a history of the account but it does not show the Beginning Balance. How do I view the beginning balance?

- Go to the Gear icon.
- Choose the Chart of Accounts.
- Locate the account and click the View Register.
- Click the Funnel icon and enter "Opening Balance Equity" in the Find field.
- Hit Apply.
