How do I add 70% deposit required in a Quote?
Hi there, I ask for a 70% deposit on a quote before I do any work. I see QBO doesn't have this option. Is there anyway around this?

Yes, there is, @MuchLoved. You can specify a note within the quote you've made to indicate that it represents 70%. I will share some information about this.
Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't allow you to add a 70% deposit required in a quote, but you can create a Quote that outlines the total cost of the project and use the Message displayed on quote to explain the deposit requirement.
After receiving the payment, you can generate a Bank deposit entry in QuickBooks to document it. Then, you can link it to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) account so that it will be applied when an invoice is available.
Additionally, you can refer to this article about personalizing your sales forms: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
Let us know if you have further questions about the Quote feature or with your invoice in QBO. We're here to help you in any way we can.
