I can walk you through in setting up your inventory in QuickBooks Online, emanbrandfoods-g.
I'd like to verify which section in the Purchase order or Barcodes you specifically need assistance with so I can walk you through the detailed steps. Any additional information is much appreciated.
Setting up barcodes is currently unavailable. However, we have the SKU feature, which is used to help track your inventory items. I'll show you how:
- From the Gear icon, select Products and services under Lists.
- Click on Edit on an existing item or select New at the upper-right.
- Enter the SKU.
- Click on Save and close.
If you have the QBO mobile app, I'd suggest creating the Purchase Orders (POs) through a browser. To start creating one, let's turn on this feature first.
- Click the Gear icon at the upper-right and then select Accounts and settings.
- From the Expenses menu, select the Purchase orders section.
- Turn on the feature and click Save and then Done.
