Let's access your account using a private browser or an incognito browser. This way, we can isolate this unexpected behavior when trying to cancel your account for a possible browser-related. You can use any of these keyboard shortcuts:
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome)
- Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox or Internet Explorer)
- Control + Option + P (Safari)
If you're able to successfully login, you can try canceling your account again. Here's how to do it:
- Go to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Choose Account and Settings.
- From the Billing & Subscription tab, go to the QuickBooks section.
- Click Cancel subscription or Cancel online.
- Select Continue to cancel and follow the process.
- Click Submit and cancel the subscription.
- Hit Got it.
Once completed, you'd receive an email notification containing your cancellation details. You can read through this article for more detailed information: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription.
If you wish to re-subscribe, you can go back to the Billing & Subscription page and click the Resubscribe button. Your data will be available in read-only access for one year from the cancellation date.
