I have filled out the T2091 and S3 but the capital gain is still showing up on the T1. What can you tell me about why this is happening?

I managed to figure out what I was doing wrong .You do not do the S3 for designation - you just use the designation details. I was using the S3 and getting a capital gain. Hope that helps.
