Can I safely delete Profile log files?
I have about 37GB of log files in AppData/Roaming/Profile/Logs and was wondering if I can safely delete some or all of them. Files sizes range from 100kb to 250MB. Dates range from 2015 to today.

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFIle Community
Although the logs are used if required to troubleshoot ProFile installation issues, they can be removed without affecting the operation of ProFile.
ProFile automatically creates logs when ProFile is opened. If the logs are deleted, you will notice ProFile will create new logs once ProFile is reopened.
Hope this helps

Is there a way to disable the creation of new log files? Each day the files grow to 250mb+.

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
Although you can safely delete the logs, there is not a way to prevent them from being created. In ProFile there is a check box in Options > Environment, the systems tabs: make sure static logs is unchecked
Hope this helps

Hi, thank you for using Intuit ProFile Community
There is not prepared report that will show e-file status, but from the database, client explorer, you can filter for e-file status and create reports to include e-file status. There is a great article for this at this link.
Hope this helps
