I’m traveling overseas and using the QuickBooks app on my iPad. My bank doesn’t support QuickBooks so I upload a CSV with transactions. How do I do this on the app?

It's great to have you join this forum, treasurer132. I'll provide detailed input to help you import online bank transactions through a CSV file.
In QuickBooks Online app, manual upload of banking entries using a CSV file is unavailable. You can import these transactions using the web browser available on your iOS device. This way, you can seamlessly manage your bank data in your account.
To guide you through the process, let's first ensure you've got the appropriate format of the CSV file. Refer to this article for detailed insights: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.
Once ready, here's how to upload your transaction into your file:
- In your QBO account, go to Transactions and select Bank Transactions.
- Click on the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions into.
- Select the Link account▼ dropdown and then Upload from file.
- Choose Drag and Drop or select Files and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then, select Continue.
- In the QuickBooks Account▼ dropdown, click the account you want to upload the transactions. Then, Continue.
- Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks.
- Once done, select the transactions you'd like to import and select Continue.
- Then, click Yes.
- When you've accepted your transactions, select Done.
Once everything looks good, you can start categorising your entries, then reconcile your account to ensure they always match your bank and credit card transactions.
