0.00 payroll lodgment

Hi Friends,

 

 

For a month, I did not pay to my casual employee because they were not available to work. My question is

about pay lodgment to ATO.

 

1- Should I lodge it as 0.00 pay run? OR I shouldn't do anything?

 

2- Should I get any problem with ATO if I didn't report 0.00 pay run?

If there's no employee paid for the month, you don't need to process a zero pay run as this will not affect your employee's YTD. You can only lodge STP for employees with actual earnings.
