Please see attached.
Under Attachment, there used to be a "Show Existing" clickable link, which enables us to add unlinked Attachments to that particular Transaction.
But now its no longer there

Thanks for coming back with more details of your concern, @tlheah.
It seems like you're experiencing a browser-related issue. Please know that QuickBooks Online uses cache to load the page quickly. However, it may cause issues when it gets full.
To confirm, we can use an incognito or private browser. You can use the following keyboard shortcut keys according to your preferred regular browser:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
- Safari: Command + Shift + N
Log in to your QuickBooks account, then check if the Show Existing link in your transactions button is there. If that works, follow the steps to clear your main browser's cache.
Otherwise, try using another supported, up-to-date browser.
Let me know if you have other questions. I'm always around to help.

Same issue here. Here's a couple of pictures of how the attachments box used to look. Now the "show existing" link is gone. Before, there was this "show existing" link and you would click it and it opened up the right side "drawer" so you could pick an attachment to add to that transaction. Please restore it immediately. I've tried 4 different browsers, updated Chrome, cleared cache and cookies, and Incognito window. None of them show the "show existing" link so please offer a solution that works to restore this link. It is very important as I have hundreds of items for several clients I need to be able to use this feature for.

Thank you for posting about this! I was finally able to find some pictures of how it used to look with the "show existing" link. As you've said, it now is just an attachments box with no "show existing" link below it.

Hi @tlheah,
Thank you for dropping by here in the Community. Allow me to chime in and provide additional information regarding the adding attachments.
I appreciate you for adding a screenshot for clarification. There are updates to the Attachment display, and the ability to revert to the old one is unavailable.
Since this feature is beneficial to most of the users, I recommend sending feedback to our engineers. We continue to make changes and improvements based on user feedback.
Here's how:
- Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
- Select Feedback under Profile.
- Share your feedback.
- Hit Next to submit.
For additional reference, you can visit this article to know more about the acceptable file types for attachments: Attachments in QuickBooks Online.
Leave a comment anytime you have questions about the changes to features or adding attachments. I'm always here to help. Take care.

Wow, so what you're saying is that we are sunk on the hundreds (thousands actually) of attachments that we need to be able to attach and now can't attach because you all just decided to take it away without notification. Wow, just wow.

Indeed this was a bad decision.
First I wasted a few hours trying to figure it out and now I’m just angry. What a stupid thing to do!

Very stupid and doing things blindly. Instead of making things easy, they made it more difficult.

I just opened a ticket on this and the first responses involved browser caching...use a different browser and finally...the link never existed! Talk about gaslighting!
Bring back the "Show Existing" link.
