Manage Customers and Income
Hello there.
I understand you wanted to be tax compliant while using the multicurrency feature in managing your transactions. I'll share some information about how multiple currencies work in QuickBooks Online invoicing.
To answer your question, we currently don't have the option to show both home and foreign currencies when invoicing customers. It will appear in QuickBooks' invoice screen, but the currency that appears on the actual invoice is the currency you assigned to your customer. Here's an article for more details: Assign a foreign currency to a customer in QuickBooks Online.
We'd also like to hear your thoughts on this feature. I recommend sending feedback to our engineers so that they can consider it in future updates. Like this:
- Go to the Gear icon at the top.
- Choose Feedback.
- Enter your comments or product suggestions. Then select Next to submit.
I've also added this link as an additional resource about multicurrency: Set up and use multicurrency in QuickBooks Online.
Keep me posted if you still have other concerns about invoices and multicurrency. I'll be here to help.
