Thank you for reaching out about the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) file lodgment error you're experiencing, @Camy2. I understand how challenging technical difficulty can be, especially when you're trying to complete an important task. I have information that should help resolve this promptly.

The issue is often due to invalid characters in one of the fund's contact details. To sort this out, I recommend reviewing all your supplier names and addresses in your TPAR file and ensuring that no special characters are present in these fields.

You may want to look for these examples:

  • Ampersands (&)
  • Apostrophes (')
  • Quotation marks (" ")
  • Hyphens (-)
  • Slashes (/)
  • Hash or pound sign (#), etc.

After cleaning the data, try lodging the TPAR file again. If the problem continues, I suggest contacting our Live Support team. They have specialised tools and expertise to address complex situations like this.

You may also want to review this resource at your convenience. It covers key aspects of TPAR reporting: Create your TPAR report in QuickBooks.

Feel free to try these steps and let me know if they help you resolve the TPAR file lodgment difficulty, @Camy2. If you encounter any hurdles while implementing it, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I'm committed to providing additional support if needed.
