My accountant set up quickbooks and I no longer use the accountant how do I pay

Getting Started

Thanks for letting us know about your situation, Dean. I'll provide details to help transfer the billing from your accountant back to you and start paying your monthly QuickBooks Online (QBO) subscription. 

 

To regain access to the account and to start managing your monthly subscription billing, you'll want to contact the accountant and ask them to transfer the Primary Admin access back to you. This way, you can take over your QBO account and start managing your monthly subscription. 

 

Once you've got a hold of your company, you'll want to change the payment method used to pay the subscription to start paying it using your preferred method. We'll outline the steps to get you going:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online as a primary admin.
  2. Go to Settings and select Subscription and billing
  3. Next to your payment method, select Edit ✎.
  4. Select your preferred payment method and enter the necessary details.
  5. When you're done, select Save and use.
