Non-resident child
I have a customer who is married and lives in Canada but his child resides outside canada, My question is, how can I put the child as non-resident.

Getting Started
If the child qualifies as a dependent under the Income Tax Act (financially supported, etc. etc.), then you put them on the "Dependant information" screen as normal, but also put their address and there is a field that says "Province of residence on 2022/12/31". Select non-resident in the drop-down box. Make sure it also says "Yes" in the "Claim as eligible dependant?".
